Gerry resides in Kingston with his wife of 37 years. They have two children and six grandchildren. Gerry came from a family situation where drinking, violence and abuse were the norm. He served a prison term as a result of crime from his youth. His personal testimony is included in a book called Free at Last which has been distributed internationally. Gerry came to know the Lord in his teen years and has been freed from a life of alcohol, drugs and crime.

Gerry has served the Lord since 1977 and has many years of ministry experience. He has served in positions as community chaplain, prison chaplain and pastor. He was the founder and director of Haven Ministries which served as a community outreach center. Gerry works with those struggling in areas such as addictions and substance abuse and many other problem areas. Gerry ministers at various venues and flows in the prophetic anointing.
